You may remember last year’s Tahoe adventure..well, we had a repeat this year!  My family and I ventured up to Tahoe to have another white pre-xmas and we were not disappointed – it snowed even more this year..so much fun!

Here are a few frames from our recent trip..enjoy!
A snowman made for my niece, who she named Bobo.  And now calls all snowmen Bobo!  Silly.
Tryin’ to catch snowflakes!
Learning how to make a snow angel :)
I wore leather boots.  In the snow.  Didn’t bring any other shoes..probably *not* the smartest idea.
View from the cabin..
Fun times!
LOVE this image!  Reminds me of Home Alone ;)

Merry wishes for a wonderful holiday season!!

My hubby and I recently took a mini trip to Sonoma, we had *such* a great time and totally fell in love with the area.

Things I learned:
1.  I ♥ Sonoma, can’t believe I’d never been to their cute downtown area before.
2.  Farmer’s Market is a must-do.  Particularly for Uncle Bill’s corn dogs.  I can guarantee you that you have never experienced a corn dog as good as his.  Try to prove me wrong!
3.  Cafe La Haye is the most amazingly delicious restaurant I have ever been to.  A quaint place with 20ish tables and impeccable service, we will be going back.  Soon.
4.  Joe and I have decided that Sonoma is high on the list of places to retire.  It is that lovely.
5.  We need more mini-vacations!

Here are some snaps from my iPhone, taken throughout our trip..

If you live in the area, or visit the area – make sure you take a trip to Sattui Winery.  And thank me later.  This gorgeous and quaint winery has been around for 125 years, so you know they’re doing something right!  To be honest, I don’t even know if I have ever wine tasted here; I don’t go for the wine, I go for the food.  And olive oils.  And bread.  And anything else they offer!

A couple of shots of the grounds:
Btw, they have weddings here.  In this courtyard.  I’m not joking.  They are amazing!  Check out their website for more details. And of course I would love to be your photographer ;)
Be sure to pick up their Cabernet and Roasted Garlic marinade – it is delicious.  And my secret ingredient for bruschetta…shhh!
Did I mention they have cheese??  Lots and lots of cheese…

Sattui’s food + picnicking on their grounds = truly one of the lovliest ways to spend an afternoon.
