My love for photography began in my early years as a teenager while learning the aesthetics of film and developing, creating prints in the darkroom, and even testing my own pinhole camera. After initially beginning a career in the fashion world, it wasn’t until the deterioration of the economy and loss of my job that I realized what my life had been lacking.
Passion.
Through researching photographers for my own wedding I once again found that passion I sorely missed. The beautiful imagery resonated in me, and I knew that I had to get back to that love of creating art as I had so many years ago.
I have been told several times that I have an “old soul” and I like to think that my vision is a reflection of that. I love having the ability to bring out the romantic side of a couple, the playfulness and innocence portrayed by youth…all while catching the details along the way. I have a love for all things vintage – including photographic processes - and plan to refine this vision for years to come.
