I’ve known Mike since we were little.. having been one of my brother’s best friends, we’ve done our fair share of picking on one another and have gone through so many stages of our lives since those days.  I can honestly say, as many others did on their wedding day, I have never seen Mike as happy as he is when he is with Christine.  The witty, sarcastic side of him subsides (I mean really, it never fully goes away) and you can truly see the love they have for one another.  It is an awesome thing to witness.. and on Christine + Mike’s wedding day I got to photograph it.  It was amazing.

The day started with getting ready at Christine and Mike’s home..
Then we moved on to the beautiful Jefferson Street Mansion where getting ready continued..
I am not kidding when I say I could’ve done an entirely separate blog post of just Christine’s bridal portraits.  She was such a stunningly beautiful bride!
Christine + Mike chose to see each other before the ceremony, which is always nice for more photos!
One of my absolute favorites..
Mike was wearing the same socks his father wore on his wedding day, 41 years prior.  AWESOME.
Loved the custom charger plates..
Angel’s Petals did an amazing job on all of the flower arrangements, especially Christine’s bouquet!
Soo you know how the Giants won the World Series??  Well Mike is a huge Giants fan, so Amanda (one of Christine’s bridesmaids) made him a SF Giants grooms cake!!  Some serious talent there..
A photo of me with the bride + groom!

Congratulations Christine + Mike!  Thank you so so much for allowing me to be a part of your day, it was such an honor.  I hope you are having a wonderful time in St Lucia!!

Yosemite is one of those places that each time you go, it feels like the very first time. The drive is insanely beautiful through Mariposa county.. lush greenery and wildflowers.. and yet, when you make that one turn coming in to Yosemite valley, it takes your breath away. Every.single.time.
So, when Ashley emailed me saying that she and Brandon wanted to do their engagement photos in Yosemite, naturally I was really excited! The day we planned to do them.. it snowed. But we were lucky enough that it stopped here and there and the sun peeked its head out! I had such an awesome time with these two, their laughter is infectious and they are just so much fun!
Check out some favs..

Congratulations Ashley + Brandon!  Can’t wait to photograph your wedding this fall :)

Ms. S had the perfect idea to give her husband a boudoir gift for their wedding reception {love that}!  I had an awesome time photographing her session.. she was gracious enough to allow me to post a couple of *inconspicuous* photos, just love the polka dots!

{JUST A NOTE:  The May marathon has SOLD OUT!!  I have included a new boudoir marathon weekend for April 29th-May 1st due to popular demand.  EMAIL studio@jessicaburke.com for details!!}
